Sparrow Early Learning Bunyip At Sparrow Early Learning Bunyip, we create a safe and friendly atmosphere where children are welcomed as individuals and feel a sense of belonging. Here, we strive to establish trusting and respectful relationships through the inclusion of cultural diversity and acceptance. Families are encouraged to be involved with all aspects of our service including policy review, menus and children’s learning through Storypark. Inspired by Reggio Emilia philosophy and guided by the Early Years Learning Framework, our educators provide a holistic, play-based curriculum with a strong emphasis on nature and outdoor learning experiences. We celebrate each child as unique and our dedicated educators focus programming on meeting the individual needs and interests of each child. Indoor learning spaces feel just like home and are filled with materials and resources that come straight from nature and everyday life. Activities are largely open-ended to allow children to follow their interests, use their imagination and stimulate social interactions with their peers and educators. Engaging outdoor spaces provide further opportunities for imaginative and collaborative play, with children enjoying the unstructured open green spaces, quiet shady areas, sandpits and climbing equipment.
