ADRA Op Shop's New Home The ADRA Op Shop has relocated from Bunyip, where it had been a beloved community fixture since September 2022. Mary Meyer, who has been diligently managing the centre as a volunteer, continues her dedicated service in our new location. The ADRA Op Shop now occupies a portion of the Scout Hall, offering a wide array of second-hand goods to support community initiatives. ADRA is committed to fostering a collaborative spirit and is working in harmony with our local Op Shop; Garfield Community Shop, ensuring that both organisations can better serve our community. We will share more details about this partnership as they become available. Community Support and Social Inclusion ADRA's presence is a boon for our community, particularly through their support of our food relief program, which is available to anyone in need. Rebecca Auriant, ADRA Director, emphasised the importance of these efforts, stating, "Its purpose is to raise funds for people in need in the local community. The partnership with Moy-Yan will add value through their food program, the Garfield Artists Club, and various programs that aim to provide social inclusion." This partnership marks a new chapter for our Scout Hall, transforming it into a vibrant hub of community support and engagement. We look forward to sharing more updates as these exciting developments unfold. Stay tuned for further news and join us in welcoming ADRA Op Shop and Moy-Yan Neighbourhood House to our Scout Hall!
