Welcome to Bunyip Primary SchoolBunyip Primary School has a strong history that dates back to over 140 years. It is the heart of the Bunyip community. It is my privilege to be the Principal of such a wonderful school community. The school prides itself in the way it nurtures students in their well-being and academic ability. Bunyip PS has fantastic facilities. There are wide open spaces for students outdoors, encouraging a variety of play options as well as open learning spaces within the classroom settings. We have and value active partnerships with the wider community and well-established links between home and school. We highly value family participation and involvement within the school. Our School values of Respect, Responsibility and Resilience underpin the positive school climate and strong community culture at our school and link directly to our school vision “To empower students to embrace learning, achieve their personal best and build their emotional, social and physical wellbeing.” We employ a positive approach to learning, engagement and wellbeing through our School Wide Positive Behaviour Support (SWPBS) approach. This includes an explicitly taught social/emotional learning curriculum that integrates with the academic curriculum and is strongly linked to our school values and expectations. We have a tiered whole school approach to student wellbeing that includes all students in the development of proactive strategies that focus on the promotion of constructive relationships, resilience and targeted wellbeing support for individual students when needed. At Bunyip Primary School, all students are provided with strong academic programs, which are tailored to meet the individual needs of the child. Our staff have strong relationships with each and every child. Our teachers use research and evidence based approaches to teaching and learning and monitor student progress utilising a range of data. We offer specialist programs in Visual Arts, Performing Arts, Digital Technologies, Science, Library and Physical Education, as well as a vast array of extra-curricular activities including camps, excursions, swimming, Bike Education, inter-school sports and instrumental music lessons.I invite you to make a booking for a school tour and I would be more than happy to showcase our wonderful school.

Columba Catholic Primary School

Welcome to Columba Catholic Primary School Bunyip'Let your Light Shine'Welcome to Columba Catholic Primary School Bunyip. Through our motto, “Let Your Light Shine”, we aim to provide extensive opportunities to enable each student’s light to shine and to foster the light in those around them and those who need support. At Columba, we joyfully embrace our vision to “Let Your Light Shine” (Mt 5:16), celebrating the God-given dignity, gifts and potential within every child. Guided by the words of Jesus, “I come that you may have life and have it to the full” (John 10:10), we strive to nurture students who grow in confidence, compassion and hope.Rooted in the mission of Catholic education in the Diocese of Sale, our school is a place where every learner is supported to thrive—spiritually, academically and personally. Here, children come to know the love of God and recognise themselves as created in God’s image. We provide opportunities for spiritual accompaniment, prayer, and faith experiences that help each child develop a personal and active relationship with God.As a Catholic learning community, we empower our students to understand their world, engage with others with kindness and respect, and explore contemporary expressions of faith and the rich traditions of the Church. At Columba, we walk together as learners and disciples, encouraging every child to shine their unique light for the good of others and the glory of God.Those who seek the Lord lack no great thing - St ColumbaColumba is part of the Iona-Maryknoll Parish.https://stjosephsionamaryknoll.com.au/

Corpus Christi Catholic Church & Priory

Welcome to Corpus Christi Catholic Church & Priory - TynongThe parish began more than 20 years ago with humble beginnings using for our church the former Victorian Farmshed. This had been purchased by the Society of St Pius X. Our community prior to this had originally been travelling to a Traditional Latin Mass in Hampton. The congregation grew quickly with the establishment of St Thomas Aquinas College at Tynong. Many people who enrolled their children at the College lived from Berwick to Somerville to Warragul. Mass was said for these people at Nar Nar Goon, then the Bunyip Hall before the Tynong property was ready for Mass. Our plan is through photos to document the transformation of what is our beautiful church today. We are truly blessed.Mass held on:Sunday: 8:00 am + 10:00 amWeekdays: Monday - Friday 7:15 am; Extra Mass on Thursday 6:15pmSaturday 8:00 am + 11:00 am
